As of the end of 2024, what was the world-record time in seconds for a single 3x3 Rubik's Cube solve?
Answer
3.13 seconds
Max Park set the 3.13-second record in 2023 — faster than most people can even read the scramble. The first world championship winner in 1982 took 22.95 seconds, which today wouldn't crack the top 10,000 solvers.
