How many bones does a newborn baby have at birth?
Answer
300 bones
Babies have almost 100 more bones than adults. A newborn's kneecaps are pure cartilage — they don't even start turning to bone until around age 2 to 6, and aren't fully bony until early adolescence — one reason toddler falls look so much worse than they are.
