How many kilograms of grapes does it take to make one standard 750 ml bottle of wine (1 kg ≈ 2.2 lb)?

Answer

1.2 kg

That works out to roughly 600 to 800 individual grapes per bottle, so every glass of wine you pour contains the juice of about 150 grapes.
